More On The FIM e-Power/TTXGP Electric Motorcycle Race At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Spotlight on the Italian electric motorbike at Laguna Seca The electric motorbike of CRP Racing on the pitlane of the Mazda Raceway with the Californian Shelina Moreda that will race with the official rider Brannetti on Sunday Today the people of MotoGP can see an unusual show on track. The Italian team CRP Racing, presents in the pitlane this morning at 11.45 US time a novelty not only for the electric mobility but also for the racing world: the female rider from Petaluma, California, Shelina Moreda will ride the eCRP on Sunday. It’s the first time an Italian electric racing motorbike is brought on track by a girl. Great anticipation and curiosity for the race on July 24. Teams will do their best until the chequered flag. A big challenge for the Italian manufacturer based in Modena that will face the American and European contenders. But the real challenge CRP Racing knows that they have already won because the eCRP is in America, on the circuit at the legendary Mazda Raceway together with the MotoGP. This is not all. Among the main goals there is the aim to test the motorcycle during the race in order to gather all the info and data that are useful in the design of the electric street motorcycle that the Italian manufacturer is developing in their headquarters in Modena. For celebrating the 150 years of the Unification of Italy, the official presentation of the motorcycle will be held in Milan at EICMA.
