Round Two of the California State Championship presented by Dunlop will be at Infineon Raceway this coming weekend, July 9-10, 2011, with the AFM. The racing will be good, and the battle for the top spot in the state is heating up between WERA’s Bryce Prince and AFM’s James Randolph. Pre-entry deadline for this event is Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Post entries will be accepted at the track with a $50 service fee. Entry fee for the event is $10, with kids 12 and under free. A one-round CSC license for this event can be obtained this week and at the event for $30.
Shandra Crawford, the organizer, had this to say: “The incoming racers from WSMC and WERA are going to bring some good competition, and I think this weekend is going to see some exciting action. Formula Pacific and the 600 Superbike races are going to be really good to watch, and it’s going to be edge-of-your-seat action from the green flag to the checkers. In addition to 4theriders shooting a video, we’ll be gathering race footage from the POV cameras provided by GoPro . Definitely a must-see event in the Bay area this weekend.”
