HOLLAND, Mich. (May 12, 2016) — Riders Discount/Tuned Racing is heading to the Virginia International Raceway in Danville, Virginia for the MotoAmerica Yamaha Superbike Challenge of Virginia. Riders Discount/Tuned Racing rider Bryce Prince placed first in race one and finished fifth in race two for the Superstock 600 class in New Jersey. Prince still leads the Superstock 600 Championship with 81 points and is looking forward to another great performance this weekend.

“I’m looking forward to going to Virginia International Raceway,” said Prince. “I have had great success there in the past. We are leading the points and I hope to bring home two wins this weekend to extend that lead; I’m very excited for this weekend!”

Rider Jason Aguilar had an unfortunate weekend in New Jersey, finishing 14th and 13th respectively. After suffering from mechanical issues in the previous two rounds, Aguilar is hoping for a change of luck in Virginia.

“After some mechanical issues and bizarre weather in New Jersey I’m really looking forward to getting back on track at Virginia International Raceway,” said Aguilar. “I was strong all weekend last year at VIR and I’m looking to be even better this year. The team is as strong as ever and I’m hoping to see two Riders Discount/Tuned Racing bikes on the podium this round. Thanks to everyone that makes this possible!”

Millennium Technologies/KWR set to do battle at Virginia International Raceway

DANVILLE, Va. (May 12) — The Millennium Technologies sponsored KWR team heads to Virginia International Raceway this coming weekend for the fourth round of the MotoAmerica championship. Superbike rider Kyle Wyman will be focusing on attaining more top-5 finishes on the Yamaha YZF-R1.

“I feel really good going into this weekend,” Wyman said. “We have learned so much about the new Superbike in the first three rounds of the season, I really think that VIR will be the race where things start to come together. I’ve always enjoyed riding here, it’s one of the more fun layouts on the schedule.

“We have a couple new components this weekend from Evol Technology which should help me feel more comfortable, and some even better SBS brake pads that will help me get the bike slowed down. Each little piece that we add has brought me closer to feeling better on the bike, and I can’t wait to see how it is this weekend.”

Travis Wyman focusing on redemption, points lead at VIR

Younger brother Travis Wyman will contest his third round of MotoAmerica Superstock 600 competition this weekend at VIR after an up-and-down weekend in New Jersey.

Wyman sits in 5th in series points standings after NJMP, now 33 points out of the lead.

“We definitely lost ground at New Jersey in the championship after crashing out of race one,” Travis said. “My focus now is squarely on race wins so I can claw my way back in the championship. My Millennium Technologies crew works so hard and I want to reward them with more wins.”

In 2015, Travis finished on the podium twice in Superstock 600. The New Yorker is eager to get back on track.

“Thanks to California Superbike School, I’ve been able to ride a lot more this season while doing some instructing,” Travis added. “I feel confident, and with the help from Next Level Cycles and Harv’s Harley-Davidson we’re all looking forward to putting together a successful weekend.”
