Sterilgarda Go Eleven is going to take back to the track for the 9th round of the WSBK Championship, starting from Friday at Brno (Czech Rep.). Ruben Xaus and Max Biaggi are burning to be back on their bikes in order to repeat the wonderful one-two of Misano and to capitalize the good performance of Vallelunga FG Sport tests. Brno circuit has a fascinating mix of ups and downs which makes it a very difficult but also wonderful track. Corner are 14, 6 to the left and 8 to the right. The track is 15m large. Max Biaggi really likes this track as he showed it last year getting the first and the second place, while Ruben Xaus finished his race in 10th and 12th position. In June the team did two days of test at Brno with the SBK riders and two weeks ago Alex Polita tested here also. The goal was to get everything ready for the SBK round, colleting as many data as possible in order to find quickly the best setting to face qualifying and race. MARCO BORCIANI | Team Manager: “Both the SBK riders are really excited and they are burning to get back on the bikes. They lapped very quick last month and they did a really helpful work which allows us to start the round with a good setting. Brno has ever been one of the Max’s favourite tracks. Last year he powered to two great race. I feel confident that both the riders will be fighting again for the top places in the leading pack. Repeating Misano will be very hard but we’ll give our best to put the riders on performing bikes. The same goes for Polita who broke the ice at Misano and who is expected to repeat his performance in order to move another step forward towards the top of FIM Superstock 1000 ranking”. The riders will face a 5.403 mts long track, with many fascinating ups ad downs, which can host up to 150.000 followers; SuperSport made its debut here in the 2005. The Czech round is very important for the team leaded by Giuliano Rovelli which is going to take to the track the setting and electronics updates tested at Vallelunga ten days ago and which are expected to increase the competitiveness of the riders. After the good performance at Misano, where both the riders took their best seasonal result, the goal will be recording an excellent score again. GIULIANO ROVELLI: “After the good result at Misano we’ll be called to confirm our value. It will not be easy because Brno is the most technical track of the whole championship and here the bike fine-tuning is vital. We make here our debut, once again without data, anyway our team has already shown to have the skill to find the right setting quickly even on new tracks”.
