Fatsbar to Sponsor Road racer Gilbert and Flattracker Wells
Daytona Beach, Florida – It is with great pleasure that Fatsbar LLC in collaboration with Edge Designs announce the sponsorship of professional GNC2 flattrack racer Ryan Wells and professional Superstock 600 road racer Michael Gilbert for the 2016 season. Both Ryan and Michael have agreed to wear Fatsbar branded helmets in their respective series and be brand ambassadors of the Fatsbar company. James Rispoli, an American racing British Superbike in the UK and founder of Fatsbar LLC has been a runner up in the flattrack Pro Singles series and two time AMA Pro Supersport Champion in America in recent years. James won the last Daytona Pro Singles short track on the original Daytona track before heading off road racing full time.
James commented, “it’s so exciting to continue to give back to the community I grew up racing in. Both flattrack and road racing are making a come back in America and my passion to see more young riders rise to the top goes without saying as my parents have done the same through their Coolskunk KyDs program. My new company Fatsbar will be part of racing in all disciplines and as such we have created The Original Fatsbar snack that is Paleo friendly, gluten free, Non-GMO and Vegan.” Rispoli went on to say “the bar is high in health fats such as coconut oil and cashew butter, contains dates, almonds and other organic ingredients and only has 5 grams of natural sugar. Our bar will satisfy your cravings, boost your energy and best of all it tastes amazing.”
Ryan Wells is 20 years old, started riding at 4 years old and was an AMA Youth Rider of the Year in the 85cc class. He was a runner up for the Horizon award and runner up for the Pro Singles title. In 2016 he is racing for the Parkinson Brothers Racing team and looks forward to clinching his first pro championship. Ryan had this to say, “joining Fatsbar team has been super beneficial for me. It has had a huge positive impact on my training away from the track this off season and helps me keep 100% focused when I’m training.”
Michael Gilbert is 19 years old, started riding when he was 3 years old, and grew up racing motocross. At the age of 12 he transitioned to road racing and in 2015 he had his first first MotoAmerica 600 Superstock season placing 6th overall. Michael commented, “As a racer I’m always looking for an advantage and I’ve found one with Fatsbar. From the first bite I knew I wanted to be involved. It has a great taste but what’s more impressive to me is the Paleo-friendly, vegan, and gluten free ingredients list and the long lasting fuel that comes with it. I’m excited to be a part of the Fatsbar team in 2016!”

Sharing the experience of MotoGP with Fausto and his team has already given us a lot of satisfactions in recent years, and I’m sure will continue in the future. The principles that join Tenax Group with Team Gresini, and generally with all the World of MotoGP, are the enthusiasm, the propensity for innovation, the attention to detail and the pursuit of higher technological value for the realization of our products. We are also proud to join our name with brands such as Aprilia and Gresini, which represent the excellence and quality of Made in Italy all over the World, another element that unites us. I wish to Fausto, to its riders and to the entire team a year of growth, full of successes and satisfactions, hoping that they can give us and all the motorcycling fans an exciting season”.
FAUSTO GRESINI
“It’s a great pleasure to be able to continue working with Tenax, being a valuable partner of our team for many years in MotoGP. 2016 is an important year for both: Tenax Group in fact is celebrating 60 years of activity, while for Gresini Racing this is the twentieth season in Grand Prix racing. Important milestones that demonstrate the great commitment at international level of two entities with a strong Italian tradition. I wish to thank the President Gino Bombana and all Tenax Group because they have always followed and follow us with great passion and enthusiasm”.
