GoLo Racing to be the Primary Sponsor for Frank Trombino in 2009 MISSISSAUGA, ON – GoLo Racing and Hot Lap Events are excited to announce the addition of the fan favourite and previous RACE number one plate holder Frank Trombino to the Team for the upcoming 2009 racing season. Frank Trombino from Kleinburg, ON takes on a role with the team as a Supported rider under the GoLo Racing tent. Frank will be mounted on GoLo Racing’s Suzuki GSXR motorcycles. Frank had a chance to bond with the team including Pro Superbike rider Sean Huffman during pre season testing last weekend at Jennings GP in Florida. This being the first time bouncing back from the last year’s injuries sustained at the Mosport round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship series in 2008 Frank worked on extremely well and dialled in GoLo Racing’s GSXR 600 to his liking. Frank was able to achieve a good setup for the upcoming RACE regional’s, as he brainstormed with GoLo Racings crew lead by Craig Atkinson. “We have had a very good relationship with Frank over the years, Team is excited to be adding Frank to our program for the 2009 season and looking forward to producing some great results. Its very exciting to have Frank on board and another step in the right direction for the GoLo Racing Team,” said Rahul Dua and A.J. Tibayan, who organize and operate all Hot Lap Events Track Days. Frank is focused on having an excellent season; he’s been working hard towards getting his health 100% and brings the excitement in the paddock he’s known for among his fans and supporters. “I look forward to the 2009 Parts Canada Superbike Championship series and R.A.C.E. Super Series” says Frank “Obviously, I have had doubts and questions about my health after a serious injury but I hope that with GoLo Racing’s help I can continue to impress my fans and sponsors alike and be competitive against the factory teams” “I also want to thank everyone including my family, friends and all the great fans that supported me during my injuries. Every single one of them specially East coast friends motivated me to be here again” said Frank Trombino. GoLo Racing is working hard to continue the progression in both the Superbike and 600 classes after last season’s podium finishes. While we look forward to our guys making it to the podium with regularity, we’ve also invested in a game plan to keep GoLo Racing Suzuki’s in the hunt for points and podiums in several classes.” The GoLo RACING.com Team is sponsored by BASF, Hillcrest Suzuki, Pirelli/Orion Motorsports, Hot Lap Events, Built by Bark, Rockstar Motorsports , JD Graphics, ACME Slate, New Tech Auto, Accelerated Technologies, Monster Energy, B&G Trailer Sales, Mimic Industries, Uber Racing, NEXO Sports, Flack Jackets, Hi5 Exposure, International Auto Brokers, Vortex, Jana H2o, Hey Addy.com, Training-Ground and GTAMotorcycle.com More, from a press release issued by MotoNation: Vemar is proud to announce that in the 2009 World Championships (1st race is this weekend!) that VEMAR shall support the following riders with the all new Eclipse helmet: MotoGP class Andrea DOVIZIOSO, 23, Italy, #4, 2nd season in MotoGP with official Honda Team Repsol, last season finished 5th in the final ranking with 174 pts.
