Moriwaki Planning To Race MD600 Moto2 Prototype In All-Japan Championship Round

Moriwaki Engineering is planning to race its MD600 Moto2 prototype World Championship racer in the GP250 class of the All-Japan Championship September 26-27 at Okayama International Circuit. Shogo Moriwaki, the company’s test rider who successfully demonstrated the MD600 at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP, will race the Honda-powered machine on Dunlop tires. According to a press release from Moriwaki, the goal of participating in the race is “to prove the potential of the machine.” Moriwaki Engineering has already received an order from Gresini Racing to supply bikes for the 2010 Moto2 World Championship and has answered inquiries from several other teams.
