Moriwaki Engineering is planning to race its MD600 Moto2 prototype World Championship racer in the GP250 class of the All-Japan Championship September 26-27 at Okayama International Circuit. Shogo Moriwaki, the company’s test rider who successfully demonstrated the MD600 at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP, will race the Honda-powered machine on Dunlop tires. According to a press release from Moriwaki, the goal of participating in the race is “to prove the potential of the machine.” Moriwaki Engineering has already received an order from Gresini Racing to supply bikes for the 2010 Moto2 World Championship and has answered inquiries from several other teams.
