Moto2: Aldeguer Earns Pole Position At Jerez

Fermin Aldeguer captured pole position during Moto2 World Championship qualifying Saturday at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, in Spain. The 18-year-old Spaniard used his Beta Tools SpeedUp Boscoscuro to turn a 1:40.673 lap time around the 2.7-mile (4.4 km) course, topping the field of 31 riders.

Albert Arenas was second-best with a lap time of 1:41.111 on his QJMOTOR Gresini Kalex, and Jake Dixon claimed the third and final sot on the front row with a 1:41.466 on his CFMOTO Aspar Team Kalex.

American Joe Roberts qualified 11th with a time of 1:41.759 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.
