Team JiR joined by Kenny Noyes at Aragon
American racer Kenny Noyes joins Teluru Team JiR Webike for this weekend’s round at Aragon, in Spain.
Noyes knows the circuit well as he has lived most of his life in Spain. Born to Dennis Noyes and his wife Heidi, father Dennis lived and raced in Spain for more than 20 years and Kenny himself was born in Barcelona. The 35-year-old has an impressive racing CV, covering dirt-track in the USA, and is a multiple Spanish national road-race champion.
Motorland Aragon is a 3.32 mile (5.34km) circuit located near Alcañiz, in the Aragonese autonomous community of Spain. The circuit has been designed by well-known German architect Hermann Tilke and it is an undulating track offering a range of blind curves as well as a long pit straight, which is ideal for overtaking. Spectators have an unparalleled view of the races from natural grandstands. Sunday’s Moto2 race will cover 21 laps.
Gianluca Montiron, Teluru team JiR Webike’s Team Principal
“For Aragon we will warmly welcome American expert rider Kenny Noyes who joins us for this GP in substitution of our official rider Tetsuta Nagashima. Kenny already has experience in the Moto2 class and now he’s challenging for the title in the Spanish Superbike Championship. We welcome his experience, as he knows well the track and the competition level of the Moto2 class. Let’s give him a chance to enjoy the MotoGP weekend and the time to adapt to the competitiveness of moto2 with Dunlop tyres once again. We give special thanks to Kenny for his trust in us and for the courtesy of his CEV team Palmeto PL racing and Kawasaki. For the coming extra European races we are monitoring the physical condition of our official rider Tetsuta Nagashima hoping he’ll be able to come back for his home GP and for the conclusion of the championship.”

“This opportunity came as a complete surprise. It will be fun to get back out there on a Moto2 machine and see how it feels after a year and a half on a Superbike. Motorland is a tough technical track but I won my last two races there so I think we can have a good race if I can get used to the Moto2 again quickly. I want to thank JiR for the ride and Kawasaki Palmeto for giving me permission to do a one off ride on a bike that isn’t green!”
