ASPIRA AND GS ASTRA STAY ON BOARD IN 2019 WITH SAM LOWES

Astra OtoParts will continue to partner Gresini Racing in the 2019 Moto2 World Championship through their brands ASPIRA and GS Astra, two leading companies in the Indonesian aftermarket of automotive spare parts and batteries.

The welcome return to the team of Sam Lowes, who will challenge for gold aboard the Kalex Machine of the Federal Oil Gresini Moto2– now powered by the new one-make engine supplier Triumph – has brought fresh enthusiasm to the whole team and partners involved.

The partnership between Astra Otoparts and Gresini Racing reaches the seventh-consecutive year mark, with the ASPIRA and GS Astra logos that will be displayed on the front and lower fairings of the bike, as well as on the rider’s leathers, team’s pit-box and truck.

YUSAK KRISTIAN – DIRECTOR OF ASTRA OTOPARTS

“ASPIRA and GS Astra are extending another year of collaboration with Gresini Racing for 2019 Moto2 Season with Sam Lowes as rider. The enthusiasm shown by the World Championship audiences in Indonesia is progressively growing. Not only on the races, but also because of the visibility of Indonesian brands internationally. We are positive that this collaboration will strengthen the impression to the brands involved, especially for ASPIRA and GS Astra. We look forward to continuing on this path of ever-growing excitement and performance!”

FAUSTO GRESINI – TEAM MANAGER

“Seven years together: three words that perfectly express the importance of this partnership. I’m extremely pleased to be able to count on such an important institution like Astra OtoParts; it’s inevitable to think back to the successful 2016 campaign we enjoyed together with Sam as our standard bearer. This is where we wish to start from and build upon, because both potential and will to succeed are there.”
