Jose Rueda took his Red Bull KTM Ajo machine to the top of the time sheet in Jerez on the final day of the last official preseason test for the Moto3 World Championship.

Rueda’s 1:43.357 was just under the outright lap record of 1:43.710 set last year by World Champion David Alonso. The next two quickest riders, Joel Kelso and Adrian Fernandez, also were under Alonso’s mark.

Fernandez was the quickest Honda, while KTM took seven of the top 10 positions.
