Levi Badie was fastest during MotoAmerica Junior Cup Qualifying One (Q1) Friday afternoon at New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. Badie came out of the pits, turned a 1:30.790 on his first flying lap, and then crashed his Badie Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400 on the next lap, ending his session. Badie’s lap time, however, held up to secure provisional pole position.

Avery Dreher, the newly crowned 2023 Junior Cup Champion, was second-best with a 1:30.899 on his Bad Boys Racing Kawasaki, and Rossi Moor claimed the third and final spot on the provisional front row with a 1:31.010 on his Fairium NGRT – Gray Area Racing KTM RC 390 R.

Riders provisionally qualifying on row two included SportbikeTrackGear.com Kawasaki’s Max Van (1:31.265), who is celebrating his 18th birthday at the track Friday; Team ECB/Bartcon Racing Kawasaki’s Eli Block (1:31.344); and Altus Motorsports Kawasaki’s Alessandro Di Mario (1:31.599).
