MotoAmerica Brings Ball Of Steel And V-Twin Stunts To Championship Of Pittsburgh

Popular Fan Attraction Makes Encore Visit To MotoAmerica Paddock

COSTA MESA, CA – Due to its popularity among the enthusiastic fans who attended the Cycle Gear Championship of Sonoma, MotoAmerica is bringing the Ball of Steel and V-Twin Stunt & Wheelie Show to next weekend’s MotoAmerica Championship of Pittsburgh for an encore appearance in the paddock.

Would you take a spin in the Ball of Steel with your motorcycle? Come see the Ball of Steel and the V-Twin Stunt Show at MotoAmerica’s Championship of Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh International Race Complex, August 24-26.

The Ball of Steel is a giant steel cage shaped like a globe in which riders Jonathan Dominguez and Angel Martin enter through a trap door aboard their motorcycles to perform gravity and death-defying stunts up, down, and all around the inside of the Ball of Steel. Each show lasts a little over 10 minutes, and Dominguez and Martin will perform three shows per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The V-Twin Stunt & Wheelie Show features Joey Robinson and his expert team of stunt riders aboard V-Twin cruisers. Robinson and his team perform stunts that belie the 600-700-pound weight of these two-wheeled behemoths, including fender-scraping 12-o’clock wheelies, eye-popping stoppies, and smoky drifts and burnouts that stripe the paddock with rubber. Like the Ball of Steel, each show lasts around 10 minutes, and the V-Twin Stunt & Wheelie Show team will perform three shows per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Check the MotoAmerica Championship of Pittsburgh Fan Guide for times and paddock location of the Ball of Steel and the V-Twin Stunt & Wheelie Show.

The MotoAmerica Championship of Pittsburgh is round eight of the 2018 MotoAmerica Series and will feature the Motul Superbike class, Supersport, Liqui Moly Junior Cup, Stock 1000 class and Twins Cup. Practice and qualifying are set for Friday, August 24, with racing action slated for Saturday and Sunday, August 25 and 26.
