Bazzaz Set For MotoAmerica Supporting Partner Role And Title Sponsor Of The Bazzaz Superstock 1000 Class Again
COSTA MESA, CA – MotoAmerica has announced the return of Bazzaz as a supporting partner of the 2017 MotoAmerica Series with the engine management system company again set to be the title sponsor of the Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class
The Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class, which runs within the premier Motul Superbike class, opens the season at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 21-23, with round two scheduled just a week later at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, April 28-30.
“The Superstock 1000 class battle last year was a thriller and we expect more of the same this season,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “We’re excited to see all the action both on and off the racetrack and we’re happy to see that Bazzaz will be a part of it again. They’ve been with us since the inception of MotoAmerica, as a class sponsor of Superstock 600 in 2015 and Superstock 1000 last year, so it’s good to see them back in the fold for year three.”
Headquartered in Chino Hills, California, Bazzaz was started in 2003 after owner Ammar Bazzaz, at the time a race engineer instrumental in Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin’s first three AMA Superbike titles, decided the time was right to bring high-level technology to all levels of motorcycle racers and motorcycle enthusiasts. The result: Bazzaz has now been instrumental in the implementation, tuning and application of electronic engine management for over a decade.
“It’s been a great two years as a partner of MotoAmerica and we’re looking forward to year three with even more enthusiasm,” said Bazzaz owner Ammar Bazzaz. “It’s a natural fit for us to be involved with MotoAmerica as they offer the kind of racing that a technology company like ours uses to continually refine and develop our products for racers and riders at all levels. We are very proud to be the title sponsor of the Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class for a second season. Whether at or away from the track, we are constantly pushing to develop the best products for our customers around the globe.”
