JD Beach, a full-time American Flat Track (AFT) racer who previously won a MotoAmerica Superbike race and two MotoAmerica Supersport Championships, is at Brainerd International Raceway and preparing to fill in for Fresh N’ Lean Attack Performance Yamaha’s Josh Herrin.

According to Herrin’s Crew Chief/Team Owner Richard Stanboli, Herrin has a high fever, has tested negative for COVID-19 once, and is currently waiting for the results of a second COVID-19 test.

If Herrin is unable to compete, Beach will ride his YZF-R1 Superbike in his place this weekend in Minnesota.

Beach is riding Herrin’s Yamaha during the MotoAmerica test day today, Thursday, at Brainerd.

Stay tuned for updates.
