BlackBerry Cylance joins KWR Ducati team as sponsor for remainder of 2019 season
MILLVILLE, N.J. — Kyle Wyman Racing (KWR) is proud to announce a new partnership with BlackBerry Cylance, who will join Lion Fuel as co-title sponsor for the ninth round of the MotoAmerica Superbike championship this coming weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Kyle Wyman will ride the #33 Lion Fuel/BlackBerry Cylance/KWR Ducati Panigale V4 R as he chases his first top-5 finish of the season.
BlackBerry Cylance is the leading cybersecurity company, focused on utilizing artificial intelligence to protect companies and individuals from online threats with revolutionary technology.
“The BlackBerry Cylance team is pleased to announce a new partnership with Kyle Wyman Racing for the New Jersey round of the 2019 MotoAmerica Superbike championship,” said Eric Cornelius, Chief Technology Officer at BlackBerry Cylance. “As the leading AI-driven cybersecurity company, we understand what it means to push the limits of technology when you are laying it all on the line — whether on the race track at speeds over 180mph or in securing networks against attackers at the speed of business. Having technology and a skilled team you can rely on is what matters most.”
The KWR Ducati team utilizes a sophisticated electronics system to collect large amounts of data and create files to operate the motorcycle at the highest levels, so a partnership with BlackBerry Cylance was a natural fit for a company that is focused on protecting data where every second counts.
“As a team competing in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship, we spend a lot of time developing electronics maps and collecting data.” said Kyle Wyman, Owner and Rider in the KWR Ducati Team. “The data and files we’ve created this season developing the new Panigale V4 R are some of our most valuable assets, so we trust BlackBerry Cylance to protect our data from potential threats that could jeopardize our success as a race team.”
The Lion Fuel/BlackBerry Cylance/KWR Ducati Team begins practice first thing Saturday morning, September 7th for a two-day event at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
