Matthew Chapin dominated MotoAmerica Junior Cup Free Practice One Friday morning at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Riding his BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400, the current Championship point leader turned a 1:37.177. Not only was that fast enough to lead the field of 26 entries, it was 1.345 seconds faster than the next-fastest rider.

New York Safety Track’s Yandel Medina was the best of the rest with a 1:38.522.

Fernandez Racing’s Jayden Fernandez was third at 1:38.632.
