MotoAmerica: Chapin Leads Junior Cup Q1 At Brainerd

Matthew Chapin was quickest during MotoAmerica Junior Cup Qualifying One Friday afternoon at Brainerd International Raceway, in Brainerd, Minnesota. Riding his BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400 on Dunlop control tires, Chapin topped the 21-rider field with a time of 1:43.809 around the 2.5-mile course.

Belgian rider Levi Badie was second-fastest with a 1:44.117 on his Karns Performance Kawasaki, and Jayden Fernandez was third in the session thanks to his lap time of 1:44.620 on his Fernandez Racing Kawasaki 400.
