MotoAmerica: Chapin On Junior Cup Provisional Pole At Mid-Ohio

Mathew Chapin was fastest in MotoAmerica Junior Cup Qualifying One (Q1) Friday afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Chapin, the current Championship point leader, topped the field of 25 entries with a lap time of 1:36.652 on his BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400.

Fernandez Racing’s Jayden Fernandez was the best of the rest with a 1:37.407, and New York Safety Track’s Yandel Medina claimed the third and final spot on the provisional front row with a 1:37.758.

The entire field is listed as riding Kawasaki Ninja 400s.
