Riding his BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400, Doyle did a 2:39.989, breaking his own lap record of 2:40.174, which he recorded on his way to victory in Junior Cup Race Two May 31, 2020, at Road America.

Defending MotoAmerica Junior Cup Champion Rocco Landers crashed early in the session, but he was able to remount his Kawasaki Ninja 400 and continue riding, eventually ending up second with a 2:40.549.
