MotoAmerica: Doyle Doing Double Duty In New Jersey (Updated)

© 2020, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. From a press release issued By Bartcon Racing:

Hamilton, Ohio – 19-year-old South African racer, and current Liqui Moly Junior Cup title contender, Dominic Doyle will showcase his skills this weekend in the Twins Cup races at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP).  Doyle will compete in both the Junior Cup and the Twins Cup classes in New Jersey.

Robem Engineering and BARTCON Racing have been discussing the prospect of Doyle riding a Robem Engineering Suzuki SV650 and the opportunity has arisen.  Robem Engineering racer Dr. Carl Price, a longtime supporter of many up-and-coming young road racers, has decided to take a one-weekend break and sit out the New Jersey round, thus allowing Dominic Doyle to fill his seat.  Doyle will join Robem Engineering’s Jackson Blackmon and Toby Khamsouk as the trio of young guns strive to sweep the Twins Cup podium at NJMP.

Quoting BARTCON Racing Team Owner Colin Barton: “When I got the call from Matt Spicer about giving Dominic the opportunity to ride Carl’s bike at our home race at NJMP I didn’t hesitate to accept. Robem Engineering is a solid team and I look forward to seeing Dominic mixing it up with Jackson & Toby”

More, from a press release issued by Robem Engineering:

Hamilton, OH – As the MotoAmerica series heads back east for the second-half of the 2020 season, Robem Engineering will add one more rising-star to the Twins Cup grid in the team’s quest to showcase the best young talent in the MotoAmerica paddock.

Joining Jackson Blackmon and Toby Khamsouk on a Robem Engineering Suzuki SV650 will be 19-year-old South African racer Dominic Doyle.  Dominic Doyle has had a stellar season so far racing at the front of the Liqui Moly Junior Cup class and the team expects no less in his Twins Cup debut.

Doyle adds: “I’ve been hanging out in the Robem pits all year, because I’m friends with Jackson and Toby, but I certainly didn’t expect this opportunity to come up.  I feel kind of bad for Dr. Price, since he’s letting me ride his bike, but I will do my best to make his bike look good.  Huge thanks to Colin Barton and Matt Spicer for putting this last-minute deal together.  I watched Jackson do basically this same type deal last year at Jersey, riding both the Jr Cup and Twins classes, and he did awesome.  I hope to do the same”.

Doyle’s personal sponsors include Arai helmets, Bison leathers, and Forma boots.

Robem Engineering’s 2020 season sponsors include Millennium Technologies, aRacer USA, Yoshimura R&D, Dymag wheels, Blud Lubricants, Vortex Racing, SBS Brakes, Velocity Calibrations, NGK spark plugs, Chicken Hawk Racing, Web Cam Inc, JE Pistons, The Center for Plastic Surgery, RBoM Racing and CopoulosBuilt.
