Springfield, Missouri racer and renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Carl Price will now join the Robem Engineering Twins Cup race team for the 2020 season. Dr. Price has competed in almost every Twins Cup race since the class’s inception in 2018 and will switch to Robem-prepped Suzuki SV650’s to chase the 2020 MotoAmerica Twins Cup championship.
Robem Engineering’s quest to showcase some of North America’s young road racing talent has been thrown askew with the addition of Dr. Price on the roster, but the team welcomes the challenge. Dr. Price, quite possibly the oldest racer to have ever been granted a MotoAmerica competition license, will team up with young guns Jackson Blackmon and Toby Khamsouk on April 17th as the 2020 Twins Cup season-opener at Road Atlanta draws ever closer.
Dr. Price will continue to promote longtime personal sponsors The Center for Plastic Surgery, Shoei helmets, Woodcraft CFM, and Chicken Hawk Racing.
Robem Engineering partners for the 2020 season include Millennium Technologies, aRacer USA, Yoshimura R&D, Dymag wheels, Blud Lubricants, Vortex Racing, SBS Brakes, Velocity Calibrations, NGK spark plugs, Web Cam Inc, JE Pistons, RBoM Racing and CopoulosBuilt.
Robem Engineering has been busy developing a variety of custom-machined parts for Twins Cup competitors and will continue to refine their offerings throughout the 2020 season. Robem Engineering is also the distributor of aRacer high-performance ECU’s and fuel-management software for MotoAmerica participants.
