KWR team ready for Wisconsin round with title sponsor Excelsus Solutions

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (May 30) — The KWR team heads into round four of the MotoAmerica Championship this weekend at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Print supplier Excelsus Solutions will title sponsor KWR as Kyle Wyman continues his assault on the 2018 Superbike series. Wyman will ride the #33 Excelsus Print Solutions/KWR Yamaha YZF-R1 and sits 6th in series standings.

Wyman missed the Road America race in 2017 due to a concussion that he suffered while riding as a fill-in rider in the European Superstock 1000 series at Donington Park. This year, Wyman is 100% ready to go and has shaken off any lingering back issues from the previous round.

“I’m happy to say that we are 100% ready to go fight it out this weekend in Wisconsin,” Wyman said. “Road America is my favorite track on the schedule, so it was a major bummer last year to have to sit on the sidelines. I’m feeling great physically and mentally for this coming weekend and it’s been good to regroup after the first three rounds were stacked on top of each other. I am also excited to bring Excelsus Solutions back on as a weekend title sponsor.”

Wyman has had much success at Road America in the past. He has won two pro nationals at the course, in 2012 and 2014 in the now-defunct AMA Pro Harley-Davidson series. When asked about his chances for a podium result at Road America, Wyman is confident he can find his way back on the box.

“This year we have battled small issues at each round,” Wyman said. “The first two rounds it was bike-related, and at round three it was my physical condition. Road America is a track that I love and have done very well at in the past, much like New Jersey Motorsports Park. We have a plan for the weekend and when we follow the plan we have good results. I believe we will find our late 2017 form and fight for the podium this weekend now that everything is ironed out.”

First qualifying practice for Road America starts Friday June 1st at 11:20am CST, you can keep up with practice at motoamericatiming.com.

Bryce Prince ready for Road America

KWR Supersport rider Bryce Prince has battled similar adversity in the opening rounds of the championship, with small challenges tasking him as the series rolls on. Prince has been fighting for podium places at Road Atlanta and VIR, but this weekend promises to put him back on top.

“After having a very positive weekend at VIR, I am excited to head into Road America for round three of the championship,” Prince said. “We made huge progress at VIR and battled for the podium in both races. I am looking to improve even more this weekend and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!”
