MotoAmerica: Ezra Beaubier On Stock 1000 Provisional Pole At Road Atlanta

Ezra Beaubier, the younger brother of five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier, put his Orange Cat Racing BMW M 1000 RR on provisional pole position in MotoAmerica Stock 1000 Qualifying One (Q1) Friday at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Beaubier lapped the 2.5-mile course in 1:26.933, edging out veteran Geoff May, who was the best of the rest with a 1:26.962 on his Geoff May Racing Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.

Hayden Gillim earned the third and final spot on the provisional front row with a time of 1:27.144 on his Disrupt Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000R.
