Progressive Fresh N Lean Yamaha’s Jake Gagne, the two-time and defending MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Champion, topped Free Practice One with a time of 1:24.501 Friday morning at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, in Braselton, Georgia.

Cameron Beaubier, riding his new Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, was second-best with a lap time of 1:24.520.

Gagne’s teammate Cameron Petersen was a close third with a 1:24.678.

It’s important to note, however, that Gagne did his best time on lap four, while Beaubier did his best time on his 16th and final lap of the session.
