Riding his Real Steel Motorsports Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP on Dunlop spec tires, the defending Champion turned a 1:41.180, which was enough to claim provisional pole position and eclipse Corey Alexander’s 2022 All-Time Lap Record of 1:41.531.

Jayson Uribe was the best of the rest at 1:42.050 on his OrangeCat Racing BMW.

Jones Honda rider Ashton Yates was third-fastest with a lap time of 1:42.551.

Benjamin Smith crashed his FLO4LAW Racing Yamaha during the session, but the 1:43.027 he did before he fell ranked him fourth.

Andrew Lee finished fifth with a 1:43.198 on his Motorsport Exotica BMW.

Other crashers in Q1 included BPR Racing’s Bryce Prince and BWR – Ron Bishop Motorcycles’ Bradley Ward.
