Hayden Gillim crashed during MotoAmerica Mission King Of The Baggers Free Practice One (FP1) at recently repaved WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, but the Kentuckian still came away with a new All-Time Lap Record for the class.

Riding his Vance & Hines/Mission Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Gillim turned a 1:29.370, which surpassed Kyle Wyman’s All-Time (and Race) Lap Record of 1:29.486, which he recorded during the King Of The Baggers race in 2022.

On the very next lap, Gillim lowsided in the final corner. He remounted his machine and continued, but Gillim was unable to improve on his best lap time.

Wyman was second-best in the session with a 1:29.824 on his Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson Road Glide, while Tyler O’Hara was third-fastest with a time of 1:29.995 on his Progressive Insurance/Mission Foods Indian Challenger.
