MotoAmerica: Gillim Grabs Stock 1000 Pole Position At Barber

Hayden Gillim took pole position during MotoAmerica Steel Commander Stock 1000 qualifying Saturday at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama. Riding his Disrupt Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000R, Gillim lapped the 2.3-mile course in 1:25.246 to top the 43-entry field.

Road Atlanta double race winner Ezra Beaubier was second-best with a 1:25.629 on his Orange Cat Racing BMW M 1000 RR, and Beaubier’s teammate Kaled De Keyrel was third-fastest with a 1:25.671.
