Riding a Squid Hunter Racing Yamaha YZF-R6 not equipped the newly legalized cylinder head modifications, the 48-year-old lapped the undulating 2.2-mile course in 1:28.752.

Anthony Mazziotto was second-best with a 1:29.770 on his North East Cycle Outlet Racing Yamaha, and current Championship point leader Xavi Fores was third-quickest with a 1:29.968 on his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V2.
