MotoAmerica: Hayes Leads Supersport FP1 At Barber

Squid Hunter Racing’s Josh Hayes was quickest in MotoAmerica Supersport Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama. Riding his Yamaha YZF-R6, Hayes lapped the 2.3-mile track in 1:28.400 to lead the 29-rider field.

Stefano Mesa (1:28.625) was second-best on his Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki ZX-6R, and Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC’s Xavi Fores (1:28.631) was third-fastest on his Panigale V2 in spite of it being his first time ever riding on the track.
