As the championship excitement builds for the final MotoAmerica Twins Cup race of 2018, the west coast MotoAmerica fans will have a local hero to cheer for as Justin Filice has agreed to make the cross-country trek from California to Alabama and will grid up on an RBoM Racing Suzuki SV650.
Justin Filice’s talent and determination was evident earlier this year at the Utah and Sonoma rounds, finishing well inside the top 5 at both events, and Filice should be in contention at Barber as well. Filice is no stranger to racing at Barber Motorsports Park, with experience dating back to the days of the Moto-ST endurance series, and he expects to have no problem adapting quickly to the #100 RBoM Racing SV650.
With practice and qualifying taking place on Friday, Justin Filice must get up to speed quickly, as more than 30 Twins Cup competitors will attempt to qualify for the finale. The most competitive Twins Cup field of the year is expected to show up this weekend and the championship is still on the line. With only 2 points separating the title contenders, the champion will be crowned when the checkered flag flies on Saturday afternoon.
