K&N Named An Official Sponsorship Partner Of MotoAmerica

K&N Filters Continues To Support American Road Racing

COSTA MESA, CA (March 22, 2019) – MotoAmerica has announced that K&N Filters has come on board as a sponsorship partner of the 10-round 2019 MotoAmerica Series.

K&N has been developing premium products for race bikes for over 50 years.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with MotoAmerica in 2019, and to highlight our support of road racing in the United States,” said Nick O’Kane, K&N Powersports Manager. “We work closely with MotoAmerica teams and riders, who have proven to be invaluable in helping develop and ensure the performance of K&N motorcycle products. The AMA has approved K&N oil filters to be used on racetracks and K&N looks forward to the continued growth of America’s premier motorcycle road racing championship in 2019 with a dynamic field of talented riders.”

The MotoAmerica Series features the EBC Brakes Superbike Championship as its headline class with the series crisscrossing the country from California to New Jersey for its 10-round championship.

“It’s great to have K&N Filters as a sponsorship partner for the 2019 season,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “K&N air filters are designed to increase the performance of race bikes and we look forward to working closely with K&N Filters in the coming season.”

The 10-round series will begin April 5-7 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, and will conclude on September 20-22 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

The 2019 MotoAmerica Series schedule is as follows:

April 12-14 – Circuit of The Americas, Austin, Texas

May 4-5 – Virginia International Raceway, Alton, Virginia

May 31-June 2 – Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin

June 15-16 – Utah Motorsports Campus, Grantsville, Utah

July 12-14 – WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Monterey, California

August 10-11 – Sonoma Raceway, Sonoma, California

August 23-25 – Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Wampum, Pennsylvania

September 7-8 – New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, New Jersey

September 20-22 – Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Alabama
