Motovation USA back to title-sponsor a healthy Kyle Wyman for Utah Motorsports Campus
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kyle Wyman will return to action at Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, Utah this coming weekend for the fifth round of the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship. Motovation USA will title sponsor the KWR team once again as Wyman rides his #33 Motovation USA/Lucas Oil/KWR Yamaha YZF-R1 Superbike.
Wyman missed the fourth round of the series at Road America due to lingering concussion symptoms, after a crash in the European Supertstock 1000 series at Donington Park on May 27th. With four weeks of recovery time Wyman is keen to return at UMC with support from Motovation USA.
“I’m eager to come back, and pumped to welcome back Motovation USA as title sponsor,” Wyman said. “We started strong at COTA with their support, and I feel like this weekend is a fresh start as I come back from injury. I am 100% ready to go after the break and I can’t wait to continue where we left off.”
The Austin, Texas based parts and accessories retailer came aboard KWR to supply numerous race parts for the Superbike team, including the SC-Project exhaust system, cooling systems and control parts. Nearly every performance and aesthetic part on the KWR Superbike can be purchased through Motovation USA.

Wyman’s recovery has been analyzed with close scrutiny due to the fragile nature of head injuries. After dissection of his crashed 6D ATS-1 Helmet from Donington Park, the 6D staff were able to study a helmet that experienced a severe frontal impact, with a secondary impact to the right temple area. Evidence showed a highly rotational event with indicators reflecting significant sheering between the two EPS liners and full compression of the system. Both liners experienced damaged EPS, indicating that significant work was done by the ODS system to manage the impact. Kyle feels strongly that the ODS system contributed to his accelerated recovery time and prevented a potentially worse outcome.
