Kyle Wyman was fastest during MotoAmerica Mission King Of The Baggers Qualifying One (Q1) Friday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Riding his Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Road Glide on Dunlop control tires, Wyman topped the field with a 1:27.872 – which is within four seconds of Cameron Beaubier’s Superbike qualifying time of 1:23.902.

But it was tight at the top.

Reigning Australian Superbike Champion was second-best in Q1 with a 1:27.993 on his S&S Indian Challenger.

And defending Champion Hayden Gillim was third with a 1:28.068 – just 0.196 second behind Wyman — on his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson.

Gillim’s teammate Rocco Landers did a fourth-fastest 1:28.278, and Herfoss’ teammate Tyler O’Hara rounded out the top five with a 1:28.677.
