Rocco Landers claimed pole position during MotoAmerica REV’IT! Twins Cup qualifying Saturday at Ridge Motorsports Park, in Shelton, Washington.

Riding his Robem Engineering Aprilia RS 660, Landers led Qualifying Two (Q2) with a lap time of 1:46.683 but the 1:46.546 he did on Friday stood up as the fastest qualifying time overall.

Dominic Doyle could only manage a time of 1:48.293 in the chilly conditions on Saturday morning, but the 1:46.998 he did on his Team Iso Yamaha YZF-R7 on Friday was good enough for the second spot on the grid.

Rodio Racing Powered by Robem Engineering Aprilia rider Gus Rodio improved from 1:49.064 on Friday to 1:47.562 on Saturday, earning the third and final spot on the front row.

Twins Cup Q2 featured several crashes and two red flags, including one for the crash of Darren James, who was transported to a local hospital with a leg injury, according to MotoAmerica officials.
