Liqui Moly To Be Title Sponsor Of Junior Cup Class

The Series For Up-And-Coming Young MotoAmerica Racers

COSTA MESA, CA (February 14, 2019)– MotoAmerica is proud to announce that Liqui Moly USA will again be the title sponsor of the 2019 Liqui Moly Junior Cup class. Liqui Moly came on board as the title sponsor last year in what was the debut season of the Junior Cup Series.

The Liqui Moly Junior Cup class is the first rung on the ladder to the Superbike class for up-and-coming young riders (aged 14 to 28) and is one of five classes in the 2019 MotoAmerica Series, joining Superbike, Supersport, Stock 1000 and Twins Cup.

All of us at Liqui Moly USA are extremely excited for the 2019 MotoAmerica season,” said Mike Crosby, Marketing Manager for Liqui Moly USA. “It has been amazing to watch the series flourish and grow over the past three years. The recent announcement of the new television packages reiterates the fact the MotoAmerica is America’s preeminent road racing series.”

Liqui Moly USA will exhibit all of its power sports products at each of the 10 rounds on the 2019 MotoAmerica schedule. Liqui Moly will also continue its partnership with Cycle Gear, which enables race fans to purchase its products at the racetrack. Additionally, Liqui Moly will sponsor MotoAmerica Superbike racer Max Flinders and the Thrashed Bike Racing Superbike team.

“It’s great news that Liqui Moly will sponsor the Junior Cup class again,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “They came on board last year in the first year of the class and it was a perfect fit. The Liqui Moly Junior Cup class has some of the best racing in our series and it’s most definitely one of the most entertaining. We can’t wait to see which of our young riders comes away with the championship this coming season.”

Liqui Moly produces oils, additives and other fluids exclusively in Germany, where it has been voted best brand of oil year over year. Liqui Moly is also one of the few suppliers that offers a full range of chemicals especially for motorcycles. On the international level, the brand is known for its involvement in MotoGP, as all the teams in Moto2 and Moto3 use Liqui Moly oil.
