Until further notice, MotoAmerica is placing a temporary ban on aftermarket oil filters for the 2015-16 Yamaha R1 (all models) pending investigation. As of today 4/14/16 all 2015-16 Yamaha R1 must use an OEM oil filter.

All teams should possess the correct tools and torque specifications to install oil filters and prevent the distortion of the gaskets. Filters must be safety wired.
