Stefano Mesa was fastest in MotoAmerica Supersport Qualifying Two (Q2) Saturday morning at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama. Riding his Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, Mesa lapped the 2.3-mile course in 1:26.582 – the fastest Supersport lap time so far.

Because of the number of entries in Supersport, 48, MotoAmerica has added a Time Attack qualifying session to this event. The top 20 riders, based on their performance in Qualifying One on Friday, will have a 10-minute additional qualifying session Saturday morning.

Riders will qualify based on their fastest lap time whether it came in Q1, Q2, or the Time Attack.
