Honda Posts $1.43 Million In MotoAmerica Contingency
Posting Money In Four Of Five Classes
COSTA MESA, CA (February 15, 2019)– American Honda has announced its Red Rider Contingency Program for 2019 and MotoAmerica is included in the program with some $1.4 million up for grabs in four of the five MotoAmerica classes.
Honda has posted $415,000 for the MotoAmerica Superbike, Supersport and Stock 1000 classes, respectively, and $185,000 for the Liqui Moly Junior Cup class for 2019. Contingency in the four classes pays back to 10th place. In Superbike, Supersport and Stock 1000, Honda’s program pays $5000 to win, $4000 for second, $3000 for third, $2000 for fourth, $1750 for fifth, $1500 for sixth, $1250 for seventh, $1000 for eighth, $750 for ninth and $500 for 10th. In Junior Cup the payout is $2500 for a win, $2000 for second, $1500 for third, $1000 for fourth, $750 for fifth, $500 for sixth, $400 for seventh, $300 for eighth, $200 for ninth and $100 for 10th.

MotoAmerica’s purse payout for the 2019 season is set at $1,430,000 across all five classes of racing.
The 10-round MotoAmerica Series gets rolling at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, April 5-7, and concludes at Barber Motorsports Park, September 20-22.
