Quicksilver and Hudson Motorcycles team up for the MotoAmerica race series

FOND DU LAC, WIS. (March 5, 2018) – The MotoAmerica Race Series announced a whole new look for 2018: four new classes (SuperBike, SuperSport, Stock 1000 and Junior Cup) and a new opening venue (Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA) on April 13-15, 2018. In addition, a new partnership between Quicksilver Powersports Lubricants and Hudson Motorcycles of Gardena, CA will not only be noticed in the paddock, but in the Hudson Motorcycles retail store location.

Riding for Hudson Motorcycles in the MotoAmerica SuperBike class will be former Quicksilver Powersports/Latus Motors sponsored athlete, Bobby Fong on a Yamaha YZF-R1. Joining him will be 2017’s Latin American Champion, Richie Escalante, racing a SuperStock 600.

“We were very disappointed when we learned that George Latus wouldn’t be fielding a team this year. We’ll miss the entire top-notch Latus crew and we thank them for their partnership. But this door closing has opened a new one that really has us excited”, said Eric Reilley, Marketing Manager at Quicksilver.

“Heading into a major transition year for the MotoAmerica race series, we are very happy to announce our new partnership with the Hudson team while also continuing to cheer on Bobby, as well as, Richie who’s a fantastic rider. After a few conversations with the Hudson team we quickly realized this sponsor partnership would be a great fit for us. The cherry on top of this great partnership is the fact that Hudson will be selling our products at their shop”, said Reilley. Mark and Daniel Shinder, the co-founders of Hudson Motorcycles, share the same drive to win and vision for the future.”

“It is important for us to share this ride with likeminded individuals who share the same passion for success, so we are truly excited for our partnership with Quicksilver” said Mark and Daniel Shinder, Co-Founders of Hudson Motorcycles. “They have been a part of the MotoAmerica Race Series for three years now and we are hopeful that this is only the beginning of a long-lasting and successful collaboration.”
