As the MotoAmerica series heads to Pittsburgh International Race Complex (PIRC) for next weekend’s [August 24-26] big show, RBoM Racing has been searching for Twins Cup racers for the PIRC round and Virginia chiropractor Dr. Matt DiLorenzo threw his name in the proverbial hat once again.

DiLorenzo, a Summit Point Raceway specialist, is no stranger to the Pittsburgh circuit and his chances of a podium finish at PIRC are pretty good. Normally a Suzuki GSX-R1000 racer, DiLorenzo has been putting in the laps this year on a variety of small displacement machinery and thinks he has what it takes to push the #234 RBoM Racing Suzuki SV650 to its limits this time.

DiLorenzo has only competed in one MotoAmerica Twins Cup round, so far, and his 7th place finish at VIR left him wanting another shot at MotoAmerica fame and fortune.

The RBoM Racing team was pleasantly surprised with DiLorenzo’s performance at VIR as his laptimes fell throughout the race and he finished less than a second from 5th place. RBoM Racing is excited to put Dr. DiLorenzo on a competitive package once again for the upcoming PIRC showdown.

DiLorenzo will join Chris Bays under the RBoM Racing canopy for a two-bike assault on the Twins Cup competition as the series comes back to the east coast.
