The rules committee of the new MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship is currently in the second day of a two-day meeting Thursday at the MotoAmerica headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.

Present at the meeting are MotoAmerica/KRAVE Group partners Chuck Aksland and Wayne Rainey, AMA/FIM representative Bill Cumbow, racer and FIM Superbike World Championship Technical Director Scott Smart, and former AMA Pro 750cc Supersport Champion Richie Alexander.

MotoAmerica has not announced when the 2015 rules package and class structure will be announced, but Aksland discussed some of the things being considered in a recent, three-part interview with Roadracingworld.com.
