Andrew Lee and Bryce Prince Highlight Podium-Filled Weekend for RiderzLaw Racing
Pittsburgh, PA – A second consecutive Stock 1000 victory by Andrew Lee highlighted an outstanding weekend for RiderzLaw Racing at Round 8 of MotoAmerica, which took place at Pittsburgh International Raceway this weekend.
As he has in every MotoAmerica Stock 1000 race this year, Lee secured a first-row start. After a red flag – a common occurrence this weekend at Pittsburgh – Lee was able to get the hole shot, and maintained a lead the entire race. Lee led by over 6 seconds when the race concluded with one lap remaining, due to yet another red flag. The victory extended Lee’s lead in the championship to 42 points. With just two races remaining, Lee will be hoping to seal the deal in New Jersey and be crowned the inaugural Stock 1000 Champion.
In Supersport 600, newly-signed RiderzLaw racer Bryce Prince earned himself a double-podium weekend. After qualifying less than 0.3 seconds off pole, Prince found himself starting from the front row for the first time this season. Race 1 was spectacular, and after battling for much of the race, Prince edged out championship leader JD Beach by 1.3 seconds, earning his first podium finish of the season.
In Supersport Race 2, Prince fought at the front of the pack with the usual pace leaders Gillim, Beach, and Debise. After Debise crashed out, Prince sailed to a comfortable third, setting the fastest lap of the race at a 1:44.588. The weekend’s results catapulted Prince from seventh in the championship to fourth.
Bryce Prince: “This truly was the dream weekend. After not knowing if I’d make it to Pittsburgh, RiderzLaw stepped in and made it all possible with the help of KWR. Being on the podium two races in a row, I can’t believe it. We are all so happy and ready for Jersey!”
In Junior Cup, “Action” Jackson Blackmon brought home hardware for the second time in three races. In Race 2 of the double-header weekend, Jackson set the fastest lap of the race on his way to a third place finish, a comfortable nine second lead over fourth-place finisher Kevin Olmedo.
“What a weekend! After a tough race on Saturday, I was ready for Sunday’s race to come around. I got a good start, and came out finishing 3rd with fastest lap of the race. This has been the best weekend yet and I’m really looking forward to the last two rounds to see what we can do!”
“I couldn’t be prouder of my guys,” said RiderzLaw co-founder Sy Nazif. “Every time we’ve faced set-backs this season, these young men have responded by working even harder. That hard work is really paying off.”
