MotoAmerica has changed its schedule for Sunday’s activities at the MotoAmerica Championship of New Jersey at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP), in Millville, New Jersey, due to weather and track conditions.

According to MotoAmerica Communications Director Paul Carruthers, the steady rain fall at NJMP is causing the track to become saturated with standing water and the longer the day goes the worse conditions are expected to get. In response, MotoAmerica will start most of the races earlier and shorten all of them.

The Liqui Moly Junior Cup race will now start at 12:15 p.m. Eastern Time instead of 1:00 p.m. and will be shortened from 13 to eight laps.

Supersport Race Two will now start at 1:00 p.m. instead of 2:30 p.m. and has been shortened from 20 to 16 laps.

Motul Superbike Race Two will now start at 2:00 p.m. instead of 3:30 p.m. and has been shortened from 23 to 18 laps.

The Stock 1000 race will now start at 2:45 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. and has been shortened from 15 to 10 laps and will use a Quick Start procedure.

The USCRA Vintage Superbike race has been pushed back and will now start at 3:15 p.m. instead of 1:45 p.m. and has been shortened from 10 to seven laps.

The Dunlop Hot Pit Walk & Autograph Sessions has been changed to a Paddock Autograph Session and moved from 11:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

beIN SPORTS is also adjusting its broadcast times to accommodate the new race schedule.
