Cameron Beaubier won MotoAmerica Steel Commander Superbike Race Two Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama. Riding his Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, the five-time Champion got out front early, built up a significant lead, and held on to comfortably win the 20-lap race by 3.099 seconds.
Superbike rookie Sean Dylan Kelly passed Race One winner Cameron Petersen on the final lap to take second place – and his career-first Superbike podium — on his TopPro Racing BMW.
Petersen had to settle for third place — and his third straight podium finish — on his Attack Performance/Progressive Yamaha Racing YZF-R1.
Loris Baz crossed the finish line right behind Petersen in fourth on his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R.
Bobby Fong was a close fifth on his Wrench Motorcycles Yamaha YZF-R1.
