Travis Wyman to compete in MotoAmerica Supersport at Pittsburgh International Race Complex

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Travis Wyman will return to professional road racing at Pittsburgh International Race Complex for the eighth round of the MotoAmerica Championship. Wyman will compete aboard his #24 Harv’s Harley-Davidson/Next Level Cycles backed Yamaha YZF-R6 in the Supersport 600 class.

Wyman has sat out of MotoAmerica competition in 2017 due to lack of financial backing. However, after his successful return to WERA club racing at Pittsburgh International Raceway in July, Travis feels confident in his decision to return to competition at the professional level.

“I am excited to make my return to the MotoAmerica grid.” Wyman said. “I’ve spent a lot of time at the earlier rounds this year helping out other riders and trying to stay involved in the sport. I am excited for the opportunity that Harv’s Harley-Davidson has provided me to get back out there and race again at this level.”

After finishing 3rd place in the 2016 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 championship, Travis looks to take the next step this weekend and compete in the Supersport 600 class at the newly configured Pittsburgh International Race Complex.

When asked how he felt about the new racing circuit, Wyman said, “The new layout is actually quite technical, but also has a fast paced flow to it which I feel suits my riding style. I’m excited to get back out there and mix it up with the guys and hopefully fight for a podium finish.”

Travis Wyman would like to thank his sponsors for their continued support: Harv’s Harley-Davidson, Next Level Cycles, Arai, Cortech, MotoOption, California Superbike School, SBS Brakes, Evol Technologies, Dunlop, Velocity Calibrations, and Alpha 1 Vinyl Works.
