As round one of the 2019 MotoAmerica Championship quickly approaches, a large Twins Cup field is anticipated as the competitors head to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on April 5-7. RBoM Racing will now support five riders in Twins Cup competition at Road Atlanta. Curtis Murray, Gillis Glidewell and Tyler Freeman will join previously announced RBoM riders Chris Bays and Austin Miller.

Curtis Murray will now have a new bike to contest select MotoAmerica rounds of the 2019 Twins Cup series. Having accumulated a decent amount of Suzuki’s Twins Cup contingency money in 2018, with three third-place finishes, Curtis Murray has invested in a brand new 2018 model to see if he can put his #180 RBoM Racing Suzuki SV650 a step or two higher on the podium.

RBoM Racing would like to welcome some new technical partners for Curtis Murray’s 2019 effort. Yoshimura R&D exhaust pipes, Millennium Technologies cylinder treatments, Woodcraft products, Huff Oil Group supplying Amsoil lubricants, Orient Express, and Baseline Motorsports. Curtis Murray’s personal sponsors still include Shoei helmets, Racer gloves, and Powersports Supply.
A new addition to the RBoM roster will be 2018 MotoAmerica 600 Supersport competitor Gillis Glidewell. Glidewell will make his debut in Twins Cup competition and considers Road Atlanta to be his “home track”. Expectations are high as his track knowledge should prove advantageous. Hailing from the small town of Selmer, TN, Glidewell will join a host of other Tennessee natives expected to run at the pointy end of the Twins Cup field, including 2018 series champion Chris Parrish, Kris Turner, Chris Bays, and Draik Beauchamp. Gillis Glidewell will ride the #442 RBoM Racing-prepped Suzuki SV650 and will assess his performance at Road Atlanta before committing to future Twins Cup rounds.

Dawsonville, GA’s Tyler Freeman returns for the 2019 MotoAmerica Twins Cup championship with a new number and more confidence. After moving from the Junior Cup class mid-season in 2018, Freeman competed in two Twins Cup races last year and expects to move a little further up the finishing order in 2019. Freeman will once again fly RBoM Racing colors and will contest at least three of MotoAmerica’s east coast rounds on his #119 Suzuki SV650.

RBoM Racing is comprised of a group of Suzuki SV650 road racing enthusiasts, a so-called “Band of Misfits”, who support the vision of MotoAmerica’s Twins Cup class.
