MotoDex signs Great Dane Harms and Aussie Johnson for 2015 BSB campaign

THE MotoDex Performance First Racing team will return to the MCE British Superbike Championship in 2015 with a two rider line-up of Robbin Harms and David Johnson aboard a pair of BMWs.

The team made its return to the series this year for the final two rounds, ahead of a full season in 2015. With a truly international flavour – Harms hails from Denmark while Johnson is from Australia – the team will be chasing success having secured technical backup from Alpha Racing and settings advice from Hawk Racing.

The squad – which is now fully based here in the UK despite beginning life in Germany several years ago – has welcomed a host of new partners for the forthcoming season including Trudie Stait Solutions Ltd, Four Anjels, Linxcel, HEL Performance, Rock Oil, HM Quickshifter and GBRacing.

Now team owner and manager Tony Dexter hopes to hit the ground running with his pair of Tron/BMW i8 -inspired machines, and both riders are fired-up and ready to start testing in the New Year.

Robbin Harms, rider: “I am really thrilled about how 2015 is turning out to be. Tony Dexter has worked hard to make it all happen and I am looking forward to working with him and his team. Now it’s all about killing time and wait for the opening rounds.”

David Johnson, rider: “I’m mega excited to be back in the premier class and getting to grips with the MotoDex Performance First BMW! It’s a new team with experienced guys within the team with some trusted guys that I bring with me. With Robbin as my team mate it will be great! He’s an experienced rider and we will push each other to get results. My last season in BSB Superbike was 2010 so I can’t wait to get started! It’s going to be awesome!”

Tony Dexter, Team Manager/Owner: “With backing from Four Anjels, Trudie Stait Solutions Ltd, Linxcel and HEL Performance, product support from Rock Oil, HM Quickshifter and GBRacing and with outstanding technical backup from Alpha Racing and Hawk Racing the whole team is eagerly awaiting the start of the new season. Robbin and Dave bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge with them and we are delighted to have two riders of their calibre for 2015 and beyond.”
