Kenny Foray and Héctor Garzo head Tech3’s MotoE challenge in 2019

Tech3 is very proud to be linked with the new MotoE Championship starting in 2019, which will certainly be very exciting and promising for the future. At the same time the new Tech3 E Racing squad is happy to have Kenny Foray and Héctor Garzo on board for this challenge, a perfect mixture of experience and youth.

The 34-year-old French rider Foray joins Tech3 with a huge know-how having won the French Superbike Championship in 2017 and riding in the Endurance World Championship got several years. Meanwhile the 20-year-old Spaniard Garzo currently fights for the top 3 in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 Championship riding the French squads Mistral 610 and was replacement rider in the Tech3 Racing Moto2 team in 2017 and 2018.

Both, Foray and Garzo are eager to start the new MotoE adventure together with Tech3 E Racing.

Kenny Foray

“I’m very happy to be part of this new adventure, it’s a real pleasure and I’m proud to work with Tech3. Now I’m already very exited to try the bike next week in Jerez!”

Héctor Garzo

“First of all, it’s a pleasure for me to become an official rider of the MotoGP World Championship, and it’s also great to do it together with Tech3. For me the new MotoE project is ready to surprise the world, because of the huge changes that it will bring. It’s not a very long Championship, but I think that’s enough for the first year of development. The most important thing is the level that this new category will have, giving places also to riders that are actually on a MotoGP bike. This makes it harder, but also more competitive. My target for next year is to have a really good result in the MotoE class and I will try my best, united with my team. For sure, we will work hard together! Many thanks to the entire Tech3 Racing Team!”
