Mattia Casadei won FIM MotoE World Championship Race One Saturday at Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, Austria. Riding his HP Pons Los40 Ducati electric racebike, the Italian won the seven-lap race by 1.218 seconds.

LCR E-Team’s Eric Granado was the runner-up, just 0.17 second ahead of Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse’s Kevin Zannoni in third.

Felo Gresini’s Matteo Ferrari was leading the race when he crashed on the last lap. He was able to remount and continue, but he finished 16th and outside of the point.
